Obsidian Cabernet Sauvignon  and Beef Stew

Ingredients:

2 lbs. beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tbsp. olive oil

2 onions, chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup Obsidian Cabernet Sauvignon

2 tbsp. tomato paste

2 bay leaves

1 tsp. thyme

1 tsp. rosemary

4 carrots, peeled and sliced

4 celery stalks, sliced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes and brown on all sides. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

Add the onions and garlic to the pot and sauté until the onions are translucent.

Return the beef to the pot and bring the mixture to a simmer.
